Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of PropEdge (the "Service"), provided by Prop Edge Solutions ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

1. The Service

PropEdge is an online platform for running a rental business: properties, units, tenants, rent, expenses, repair requests, users and companies. We may develop the Service and change its features from time to time.

2. Free trial

Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial with full features and no credit card. After the trial, continued use is on the plan and price we agree with you. If you do not choose a plan, we may suspend access to the account; your data is then kept as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password secret and do not share your account. Each person in your team gets their own invitation and sign-in.
• You are responsible for what is done through your account and the accounts of the users you invite, and for the roles and access you give them.
• Tell us at once at support@propedge-om.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Your data and your tenants' data

The data you enter in the Service (such as property, tenant and payment records) remains yours. We use it only to provide and support the Service for you, as the Privacy Policy explains. When you enter personal data about tenants, owners, contractors or anyone else, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and share it with us, and for informing them as the Personal Data Protection Law of the Sultanate of Oman requires.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or enter data you have no right to use;
• try to reach another company's or account's data, or get around access rules or security measures;
• upload malicious software, disrupt the Service, or use it through excessive automated requests;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service.

6. Messages

We send emails about your account (for example verification, password reset and invitations). With the consent you give at sign-up, we may also contact you by WhatsApp and SMS about your account, your trial and support. You can withdraw your consent to WhatsApp and SMS messages at any time by writing to support. When your team uses "Share on WhatsApp" to send something to a tenant, the message is sent from that user's own WhatsApp account and is subject to WhatsApp's terms.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not promise that it will run without interruption or error. It may be unavailable for short periods for maintenance or updates. Support is available at support@propedge-om.com.

8. Fees

Fees for paid plans are set when we agree them with you. Nothing is charged during the free trial, and we will not charge you without your agreement.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code and brand belong to Prop Edge Solutions. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service to run your rental business for as long as your subscription lasts.

10. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the Service or other users at risk. You can ask for a copy of your data before your account is closed.

11. Limits of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or for loss of profit, and our total liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. You are responsible for checking the amounts and dates you record and for your own financial decisions.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of the Sultanate of Oman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date and version are shown at the top of this page, and we will tell you about any material change before it takes effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
